JTM Service will be in attendance at the Yorkshire Post Excellence In Business Awards 2023 event at the Emerald Suite Headingley Stadium, Leeds. JTM Service are finalists in the Small Business of the Year category. We are very excited, and very proud, to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Small Business of the Year category.

Our submission to the judging panel included an overview of JTM Service and the achievements we have made. Over the last 3 years, JTM Service has been transformed into the fast growing, dynamic, record smashing, high quality and engaging company we are today! We have achieved this whilst maintaining our core ethos of fantastic customer service, which has been in place for 40 years.

Recent results demonstrate our financial and team growth:

  • Turnover in 2023 showing a 14% growth against 2022, with a 46% growth over 3 years
  • Headcount growth of 50% in the last 18 months
  • Employee Engagement Survey score of 4.42 (out of 5) in August 2023 (was 4.20 in January 2022)

Clear Strategy and Vision – In May 2022 we began implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (“EOS”) and we agreed:

  • Our Values – Heart, Drive and Integrity

  • Our ‘3 Uniques’ – which, when combined, makes us stand out

  • Quarterly Objectives (we call them “Rocks”)

Our Quarterly Rocks are key. We agree 5 each quarter and the achievements over the last 18 months have been phenomenal, including:

  • New product offerings
  • Establishing a Training Academy
  • New marketing strategies
  • £2,300 raised for Prostate Cancer UK
  • £1,200 raised for the Homeless Charity Simon On The Streets
  • Additional employee benefits introduced
  • Customer survey implemented
