This week we’ve been working at Hull and Grimsby docks, repairing commercial washing machines and tumble dryers on a 200 metre offshore wind turbine installation vessel and on a 22 metre fishing vessel.
Two very different vessels with the same requirement – equipment that works effectively and reliably.
At Hull Docks, we attended a large offshore vessel responsible for transporting and installing wind turbines. On board was a 32kg washer, the fault was diagnosed and rectified within the available window, ensuring the machine was fully operational.
In Grimsby, we visited the fishing vessel. On board were a Miele Professional Little Giant 7kg washing machine and matching tumble dryer, both requiring attention. Turnaround in port is tight for working fishing vessels. We arranged attendance in advance, completed the repairs and carried out full testing before departure.
For boats, yachts and other marine vessels, service and maintenance of equipment has its own unique challenges. We understand this, and work with our customers to coordinate with them and get them back up and running promptly.
