It was a sunny start this morning as we got the team together for our quarterly company meeting. We discussed our performance, our plans, and our pride in our culture and the quality of our work. We also gave away a range of prizes, including a new Ninja Air Fryer, a cinema voucher and a loo roll…!
At today’s meeting we updated on:
- Our “Rocks” – the quarterly strategic objectives we set and how we’re doing against the latest ones.
- Customer feedback, including a review from a customer we recently started working with, who said we had restored their trust and they appreciated our commitment to excellence.
- Congratulating our latest Gas Safe certified engineer.
- Training undertaken in the last quarter, including manufacturer training, gas safe recertifications and CSCS cards.
- Ideas for our chosen charity of the year and events to take part in.
- Ideas to increase the social engagement work we do.
- The investment in our new system, Big Change, and the benefits of this.
- The 4 new, larger engineer vans which are arriving in the next fortnight.
- The introduction of Private Medical Insurance this year as the latest staff benefit for our team.
- How delivering quality, caring for our customers and each other, and doing things the right way, is the cornerstone of what we are about.
- Nominations submitted by everyone for their teammates where we have gone above and beyond – we had over 70 nominations this quarter.
We ended the meeting with our fun game of Spin The Wheel. The name of everyone who had been nominated went into the hat, and 3 winners were pulled out, who each got the opportunity to spin the wheel and win a prize. There were some great prizes up for grabs (such as a helicopter ride, a Ninja Air Fryer and vouchers) as well as some ‘interesting’ prizes, such as some slippers and a loo roll! And Nathan was the lucky winner of the loo roll – to say he was overjoyed would be an overstatement…
It was brilliant to get together as a team and update, celebrate and say thank you.
