It’s Gas Safety Week! This annual event, in its 14th consecutive year, is an annual safety campaign to raise awareness of gas safety issues. We are delighted to support this and would like to remind everyone about the importance of gas safety with gas powered commercial laundry equipment.
Gas tumble dryers have a naked flame and combustible material (lint) in close proximity, meaning fire is always a risk. Regular servicing and cleaning is essential, as well as understanding and adhering to the legal requirements for gas powered equipment. Without this you can put your people and property at risk, and be non-compliant, leading to penalties and prosecution. At JTM Service we are Gas Safe registered, and our engineers are Gas Safe registered, specifically for commercial laundry equipment. We can help and support you to keep safe and compliant.
