Why did you want to be an Apprentice?
I feel like college was too slow paced for me, and with an Apprenticeship I am getting hands on experience every day and I feel like I have more of a purpose. I’ve always been interested in business through school – now I get to put my knowledge to work.
Why have you joined JTM Service?
I loved the Values of JTM Service and I feel like I align well with Heart, Drive and Integrity. Also, JTM Service have had past Apprenticeships, which gives me confidence that they will help me get where I want to be and put effort into helping me learn. A really important factor was also the first impression I got from everyone who works here, they are all very friendly!
How have you found it at JTM Service?
Every day I am learning something valuable and developing my skills and everyone has had a positive impact. I felt very comfortable straight away and am really enjoying it.
What does your role involve?
My role so far includes general admin as well as raising invoices and submitting supplier invoices, raising proforma invoices. It also includes arranging PUDO (parts deliveries to our engineers), and every day I am learning something new and constantly growing my role.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like staying busy and I am very sociable. I spend a lot of time with my friends and family so I’m always having fun through the week, and after work I enjoy going to the gym with my friends.
What would you like to do in the future?
My big dream for the future is to travel and to see the world. My fear is staying in England all my life as there is so much more to see. My career plan is very mixed, I am very driven and have a lot of aspirations to be successful – one of these is fashion marketing, as I have a passion for fashion, but I also would like my own business and to make myself successful.
What is the best holiday you have had?
The best holiday I’ve been on is going skiing in Austria. We constantly laughed and made so many memories as it is a very full-on holiday. As a family we are all very competitive and dramatic, so when we are all skiing it’s very funny watching each other fall and make a fool of ourselves. Also, the food makes it an experience too as it can be very different.
Any other interesting facts about you?
Hmm off the top of my head my party trick is I can do a backflip!
