Jamiesons Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services provide a comprehensive laundry and dry cleaning service to both commercial and domestic clients throughout Northumberland.

The Challenge Faced

Previously operating as 2 businesses (Jamiesons Dry Cleaners and The Laundry Gallery), the business suffered a catastrophic fire at their premises in Hexham in September 2019. They have rapidly rebuilt including combining the services into one business, and they are continuing to grow. To manage the growth and to be able to provide an environmentally safer alternative to dry cleaning again Jamiesons needed a solution which would help them meet their demand levels and capacity requirements.

How JTM Service helped

We worked with Cameron Jamieson, Managing Director, and the team at Jamiesons to understand their requirements for the next stage of their rebuild and rapid growth and then advised on what machines would best suit their need.

We proposed Miele Professional equipment and recommended a PW6321 Washing Machine with a 32kg load capacity, and a PT8807 Gas Tumble Dryer incorporating the patented Air Recycling Plus and the PerfectDry system. The larger drum sizes provide the capacity required to carry out high volume laundry loads. They operate to minimise consumption of water and energy which saves money and also helps the environment, and the PW6321 incorporates the WetCare system which offers a more environmentally friendly alternative to dry cleaning.
